Healthy Mother Wellness & Care

Led by US certified Midwives, Healthy Mother has pioneered Scientific Midwifery in India as a safe and healthy alternative to the medical model of care. Focused on Natural Birth, our care model is evidence-based, empowering, and transformational for our urban middle class mothers, husbands/partners and families. In 2013 our natural birth rates were 92%, the highest in urban India. Our model is collaborative with the medical model when there is a true emergency, with 24-hour OB and emergency medicine backup. We have thus been able to cater to "high risk" mothers such as those with diabetes, hypertension etc. We serve the full continuum of life stage of women from pre-conception, pregnancy care, to natural birth, new motherhood and toddler care, and wellness programs such as Yoga, Massage etc. We facilitate a FB based Mom-to-Mom support group for all things related to pregnancy and new motherhood. We offer online and Skype consultations to moms even in the US.
